Michael and Kathy Bush Use Bequest to Support The Ringling’s Future Success

Michael and Kathy Bush

The awe-inspiring wonder of The Ringling hits everyone differently. For Michael and Kathy Bush, that wonder has come in many ways. And now, through the gift of a bequest, they are ensuring future generations will share the same magic.

John and Mable Ringling’s vision for Sarasota and their museum is alive and well with all of today’s donors, such as Michael and Kathy. Their generous gift, which will support future projects at The Ringling, is an example of how bequests can help to ensure The Ringling’s vision endures for the ages.

“Ringling Museum has so many unique aspects that it is easy to find your passion,” Michael says. “If at first glance you can’t find your connection, share your passion with a team member who will help you unlock the wonder of The Ringling.”

Michael, who is The Ringling’s incoming board chairman, and Kathy have enjoyed too many wonderful experiences with The Ringling to list, but their first meaningful contact was when they were co-chairs of the Ringling International Arts Festival, during which they collaborated with Mikhail Baryshnikov and many other extraordinary artists.

To ensure The Ringling remains vibrant far into the future, Michael and Kathy know a planned gift is the perfect vehicle. They urge others to join them in creating a Ringling legacy.

“To me,” Michael says, “a donor’s gift, regardless of size, will help preserve the awe and wonder that every person experiences at the museum and ensure, for perpetuity, that the magic of Ringling’s wonder will be experienced for generations to come.”
